Character's history since the end of HBP till now:

In school Andromeda was a Slytherin, like all proper Black's should be, but in her later years she took up with a muggleborn Ravenclaw called Ted Tonks, who she fell in love with and abandoned her family for. Andromeda is sure that her sisters will never forgive her, although will Bella and Lucius dead Cissa may be easier to approach. Andromeda and Ted also have their daughter Nymphadora, who hates her name even though Andi insists on calling her it. Although she will call her Dora on occassion.

Andromeda trained as a Healer and works at St Mungo's, so she will be able to gelp heal the wounded from the battle. She also is worried about her daughter who seems to have retreated into herself after she lost Remus, the best friend of her cousin Sirius, the only member of her family to still like her after she abandoned them. Sometimes she thinks that Sirius looked up to her too much and wanted to follow in her footsteps - the Gryffindor sorting made her smile when she heard about it.
